Ferry Joins The Sky Blues

The club is pleased to announce the acquisition of former Derry City and Coleraine goalkeeper Eugene Ferry, as he becomes the newest addition to the Riverside.

After spending a number of years as an understudy to Gerard Doherty at Derry City, Ferry made the switch over to the NIFL Premiership with Coleraine eight months ago, but after the signing of Michael Doherty, Ferry travelled in the opposite direction after being deemed surplus to requirements at the Showgrounds.

Declaring the completion of the deal in an interview with Kevin McLaughlin of the Londonderry Sentinel, Ferry stated: “I’m glad that everything has been sorted out quickly, I just want to keep playing football and thankfully Paul Kee made me a good offer. I’m happy to join the club.”
