Burnside Suite Unveiled At Riverside

An event was held last Tuesday at the Riverside to oversee the unveiling of a memorial plaque in honour of former club chairman John Burnside, who passed away earlier this year.

Attended by the Burnside family, the new addition to the clubhouse marks the renaming of the boardroom to the “John Burnside Suite” in dedication to the late committee member.

Burnside, a devout servant of local football, was instrumental to the development of Institute, helping to inspire the club from intermediate level to the Premier League.
