Today’s youth academy results are as follows:

Under 10’s lost 3-1 away to Ballymoney. Under 12’s won 6-0 at home to Moyola (report below).  Under 13’s lost 3-1 away to Lisburn and the under 16’s drew 2-2 away to Magherafelt

Institute U12 V Moyola U12 at Wilton Park.
Stute dominated play throughout the game with Jack holland only having to make one save. The early attacks were set up from the very impressive Jordan killen playing down the right side whom was linking well with captain Harry waterstone.
The breakthrough came when Jamie curry hit a first time shot low into the corner of the net. Curry then made it 2-0 and put stute well on their way. The stute midfield of Burnnet, Waterstone, Killen & Dieghan were totally dominate and created lots of chances which the forwards squandered. The back line of Connor, Ferguson, Love & Oneill held strong when Moyola broke out. Brad Connor joining in attacks and later in the game set up numerous chances for the front line earned himself the MOM. Goals in the 2nd half from Aadms 2, Kinkade & Gamble sealed an easy victory for the stute side currently 3 points off the top league position but with a game in hand.
