After two long months on the road, our first team are back playing football in our home City.
However, the flood that devastated our ground has done nothing to quench the desire of our
resilient first team squad.
Having played eight of our first nine games away from home we are four points off the top of the league with a game in hand. In addition, a wonderful display last Tuesday night against Coleraine ensured that we are North West Senior Cup champions for the second year in succession.
This week we are back to league business with the Blue Fin Championship.
Thanks to the cooperation of Churchill FC, Brigade CC, NIFL and the IFA, we will be hosting Harland and Wolf Welders at Wilton Park tomorrow (28 th November at 3.00 pm).
Brigade Cricket Club will be open from 12.15 for everyone to enjoy pre-match refreshments and watch the 12.30 Premiership clash between Manchester United and Tottenham.
The players and coaches have been outstanding so far this season and I know that our long suffering supporters and hopefully some neutrals or new supporters will turn out in force tomorrow and in the coming home games to provide our lads with the momentum needed to ensure that our temporary ground becomes a launching pad for our third successive challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
C’mon the Stute! Ardens Sed Virens!
