The second half continued with both sides eager to gain a victory. However, Knockbreda certainly improved from the first half creating plenty of opportunities. ‘Stute’s attacking persistence payed off and on the hour mark, Bonner scored a fantastic header after a beautiful delivery from captain Michael McCrudden. ‘Stute doubled their lead with ten minutes remaining, again Bonner scoring another bullet header. However, Knockbreda scored a late goal to cause the home side a nervous last few minutes.
